Shoot NBA Experience

Since the announcement that the NBA would be finishing their season in the Most Magical Place on Earth, news about the league’s accommodations has been trickling in. Earlier today we found out where the players would be staying, and now we know a little bit more about the amenities they’ll receive during their stay.

According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, the players are going to get some pretty sweet digs while they’re waiting to play through the rest of the season. Their hotels will feature a players-only lounge with TVs and gaming, pools and trails, barbers, manicurists, and pedicurists. Plus, they’ll have access to a 24-hour concierge.

Walt Disney World

But if you’re looking forward to enjoying one of your favorite meals at one of these Disney World restaurants, you might be out of luck!

Just like we saw right before several restaurants reopened in Disney Springs, menus are getting slashed left and right! We’ve seen lots of starters, appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, desserts, and kids’ menu selections fly out the window today! But don’t worry — it’s not all bad news! Several restaurants have added a bunch of new boozy drinks! Let’s find out if your favorite menu items have survived the chopping block.

Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort

Those are all the menu changes we’ve noticed so far, but we’ll be on the lookout for more, especially now that we know when Disney World hotel guests will be able to book dining reservations once again!

Guests Are Advised Against Entering Disney World if They’re Experiencing Any of These Symptoms!

Guests with upcoming reservations to Disney World have a multitude of new health and safety procedures to be aware of before they even leave home! But there’s more to preparing for your next Disney World vacation than linking your park admission to My Disney Experience.

Guests Are Advised Against Entering Disney World if They’re Experiencing Any of These Symptoms!

Beach Club Resort

Another new measure to be aware of before leaving home comes in the form of a health acknowledgement, which was recently added to Disney World’s website.

Guests who wish to come to Disney World may not exhibit any symptoms that could possibly be linked to the coronavirus. Although it seems like this may be on the honor’s system, the acknowledgement does state that guests who display symptoms including (but not limited to) fever, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, and coughing “must not enter Walt Disney World Resort.”

Guests Are Advised Against Entering Disney World if They’re Experiencing Any of These Symptoms!

Guests wishing to visit Disney World must also abide by the acknowledgement that they have not been in contact with anyone with confirmed or suspected symptoms without completing a 14-day quarantine and are not under any self-quarantine orders. This acknowledgement is preceded on the website with Disney’s warning regarding the virus.

Guests Are Advised Against Entering Disney World if They’re Experiencing Any of These Symptoms!

Disney is making it abundantly clear that by visiting Walt Disney World Resort, not only do you acknowledge that you are free from any symptoms related to the virus, but that you also “voluntarily assume all risked related to exposure.” Similar signage can already be seen around Disney Springs.

Warning sign when you enter Disney Springs

There’s a lot to keep straight these days, from knowing how dining in Disney World will look different when the restaurants reopen to preparing for your resort stay. Before you arrive, be sure to also stay up to date on all the latest reopening news by clicking any of the links below!

Round Two of Our Disney Movies Throw Down Is OVER — Did Your Favorite Make the Cut?!

We’ve been watching A LOT of Disney movies lately, and while these films are fresh in our mind, we’re pitting them against each other in our Disney Movies Throw Down Bracket!

Round two of the tournament is OVER, and there have been some SHOCKING upsets!

Let’s see what animated classics are still in the running and which have been left in the dust.

The Results

Round Two had some incredibly hard choices (though The Incredibles got knocked out by Finding Nemo in Round One…)!

Round Two of Our Disney Movies Throw Down Is OVER — Did Your Favorite Make the Cut?!

Fish are Friends NOT Food

Right off the bat, there were some DIFFICULT choices to be made between some all-time Disney classics. We were feeling some seriously mixed emotions choosing between Inside Out and Coco, but in the end,  Coco pulled of un poco loco victory.

Round Two of Our Disney Movies Throw Down Is OVER — Did Your Favorite Make the Cut?!

Miguel on the Coco Float

And HOW did you guys even pick between The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast?! Both feature ICONIC princesses, beloved soundtracks, and beautiful animation. But, Beauty and the Beast was the Belle of the ball.

Round Two of Our Disney Movies Throw Down Is OVER — Did Your Favorite Make the Cut?!

Beauty and the Beast Topiary

There were a few upsets in round two as well. 101 Dalmations moved on instead of Sleeping Beauty. And while we know Mike and Sully have their fans, the Monsters Inc. duo beat out Finding Nemo.

And now, round three is upon us…

Round Three

Round three of the throwdown begins TONIGHT on Instagram, and we’re sorry to say, the choices are not getting any easier. In fact, they may be getting a little lot HARDER!

There’s another major princess showdown between Snow White and Cinderella. Honestly, both of these classics are SO good and SO deserving, we’re not even sure who to pick. And the choices for modern classics are NOT easy, either.

Princess Cinderella at Akershus in Epcot’s Norway

We’re constantly singing the songs from Frozen and Moana at the top of our lungs, how can you even choose between the two?! And when it comes to perfect Pixar films, Up and Coco are at the top of our lists…but only one can move on. SIGH…you can check out the entire bracket as it stands below!

News! Here’s Where the NBA Players Are Expected to Stay in Disney World

Just moments ago, we shared with you a few new details regarding NBA players being able to invite friends and family to Disney World after they advance through round one.

News! Here’s Where the NBA Players Are Expected to Stay in Disney World

Mickey Basketball Ear Hat

And now we’ve just learned which Disney World resort hotels the teams will be calling home sweet home while they finish their 2020 season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex!

NBA analyst Shams Chariana has just posted on Twitter the NBA teams were able to pick which Disney World resort hotel would host them based on their seeding.

It looks like the Bucks, Lakers, Raptors, Clippers, Nuggets, Jazz, and Heat will stay at the swanky digs of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort’s new Gran Destino Tower which just opened last year.

News! Here’s Where the NBA Players Are Expected to Stay in Disney World

Barcelona Lounge at Coronado Springs Resort

We had a feeling this Disney World resort would be a contender since it boasts so many business-level amenities even though it’s technically considered a moderate resort! It’s also very close to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex which will make for a quick commute!

Click here to take a photo tour of Gran Destino Tower to see where some of your favorite NBA players will be staying!

Meanwhile Thunder, 76ers, Rockets, Pacers, Mavericks, Nets, Grizzlies, and Magic are expected to stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

News! Here’s Where the NBA Players Are Expected to Stay in Disney World

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

The Grand Floridan Resort is a deluxe resort and one of the posh-est hotels on Disney World’s properties.

And finally, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be taking in the Blazers, Kings, Pelicans, Spurs, Suns, and Wizards!

News! Here’s Where the NBA Players Are Expected to Stay in Disney World

Yacht Club Resort Lobby

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is also a deluxe hotel at Disney World and shares one of the nicest resort pools on property with its neighbor, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, although Stormalong Bay won’t be open during the initial reopening period.

News! Here’s Where the NBA Players Are Expected to Stay in Disney World

Stormalong Bay

Charania also shared a few details about some of the new NBA-level amenities the players will be enjoying during their Disney World stay including a players-only lounge, 24-hour concierge service, and lots of entertainment offerings including ping pong and even yard games. And even though players won’t be permitted to play around at the theme parks, they will be allowed to attend other teams’ games.

We also learned Disney chefs will be preparing daily meals for the NBA athletes and there will also be a special room service option for them. Teams can bring up to a 35-person traveling party with them to Disney World when the NBA season starts back up on July 31st.

So far, we don’t know if or how the NBA finishing its 2020 at Disney World will impact any of your vacation plans, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out more info!

Have you ever stayed at one of these Disney World resort hotels? Which one would you have picked? Let us know in the comments below!
