Calling all tequila fans! Disney Springs’ Frontera Cocina Mexicana is celebrating it’s 4 year anniversary with a new special menu including a margarita that will surely add some sparkle to your summer evenings!

Life is the bubbles with the NEW Champagne Margarita made with Teremana Respado tequila, a hit of freshly squeezed lime, orange liqueur, and topped with a refreshing splash of champagne.

Rounding out at $12, the new drink doesn’t taste much different from a classic margarita. BUT, the light taste of lime and orange liqueur still hits the spot! It’s a great choice when Orlando hits 99 degrees in the dead of summer!

As for taste, the champagne and lime are very prominent. We were surprised by how much champagne we picked up! It was honestly quite refreshing!

The Champagne Margarita is just one choice you can get for Frontera’s 4th Anniversary! We think this crisp marg will go nicely with a side of the Mango Guacamole & Chips. Is there anything better than guac, margaritas, and sunshine?

Oh, and we forgot the best part! Frontera has an Online Ordering! This means you can take some tacos home with you on your way out of Disney Springs!

Many stores have adjusted the way they are distributing food and merchandise since Disney Springs re-opened a few months ago. This is due to the safety protocols that have been implemented for all of Disney property.

In an effort to enhance social distancing procedures, Kipling announced they are starting curbside pick-up for all of their store items. This will allow guests to pick up their desired purchases quickly. Let’s walk you through the process!

To make a purchase with Kipling, all you have to do is call ahead at (407) 560-0828. You’ll talk to a Sales Associate and they will set up an appointment to walk you through the store on a video call via Zoom. Or, you can send them a wish list via email and they will check what’s in stock.

Then, you’ll venture to Disney Springs where you will meet the Sales Person at a designated area. The meeting place is up to you, but it’s probably best you meet outside of the store. Another good meeting place at the fountain in front of the Lime Parking Garage escalator. (That way you can get in and out quickly!)

Then you’ll pay the associate via debit or credit on their mobile device. You get in, you get out. Boom, you’re done!

Small adjustments like this are decided by each store. Overall, most restaurants are offering limited menus and every location is implementing social distancing guidelines. We will be sure to keep you updated as more purchasing options become available for guests.

A few weeks ago, Disney canceled all upcoming experience reservations in preparation for the reopening of the parks.

Disney announced this morning that those who had dining reservations canceled may make new reservations tomorrow, and now accommodations are being made for those with canceled experience reservations too. Select guests with canceled experience reservations will be able to make reservations for available experiences TOMORROW. 

According to the Disney World website, those with experience reservations on or before September 2nd that were canceled as of May 28th will be able to make new reservations beginning June 30th for up to 60 days in advance of arrival.

Guests will be able to check availability and potentially book the Capture Your Moment photo experience, Droid Depot, the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience, horseback riding, Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, fishing excursions, and private pool cabanas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Disney has once again pushed back the theatrical release of its live-action remake of Mulan. Once scheduled to come out in March, the movie was postponed to July 24th, and is now expected to come out on August 21st, 2020.

Now, AMC, who was hoping to reopen nationwide by July, is making a change to their reopening timeline.

And now according to Deadline, AMC has been forced to push back their tentative resumption date. Without major films such as Disney’s Mulan and other would-be summer blockbusters drawing in crowds, they’ve decided to reopen their movie theaters starting July 30th instead of July 15th.

AMC previously released details about plans for its phased reopening which included several new protocols for employees, sanitizing between showings, and rearranging concession sales. You can read about those here!
