The construction at Disney Parks was put on hold when the COVID-19 pandemic forced Walt Disney World to close. Fortunately, the construction has recently resumed at Epcot and workers are moving forward in the planned projects for the theme park’s future.

Epcot reopens on July 15 for guests with reservations. One of the current projects put on hold was the renovation of Spaceship Earth, which will continue operating for guests when they return to the theme park. Several new attractions are being created for the future, so the front half of Epcot does reveal quite a lot of construction in progress. A project we’re currently excited about is the development of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind roller coaster.

Lastly, we find an aerial view of the exterior construction progress at the Mouse Gears location. It’s certainly different from when we last saw Mouse Gears at the Disney Park! The Future World side of the park is undergoing a massive transformation. When it’s complete, guests will be able to experience the newly created worlds of Nature, Celebration, and Discovery when visiting Epcot.

Even though it’ll take time to complete these construction projects, we eagerly await the completion of the reimagined Epcot!

It is hard to believe that soon the gates to Walt Disney World’s theme parks will open for the first time in what feels like forever. Many people are apprehensive with Walt Disney World’s theme parks reopening. I am one of the apprehensive folks.

One of the ways I am dealing with this apprehension is to focus on the attractions and activities that are outdoors. I would much prefer to remain outside as much as possible for the foreseeable future. So, if you’re like me and feel more comfortable with outdoor activities right now, as opposed to indoors where air recirculates easily, then this list of best outdoor activities at Magic Kingdom is for you.

Another favorite outdoor activity of mine is to view the windows on Main Street U.S.A. The merchandise shops have precious displays, but don’t forget to look up so you can see windows that pay tribute to Disney leaders who have made an impact on the company. There’s also the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, which is an interactive role-playing game that encompasses multiple lands.

Disney Springs has become back-to-school central for all your Monsters University needs!

Not only did we spot a huge display of Monsters University-themed merch a few weeks ago at World of Disney, but now we just discovered a new MagicBand style featuring a young and scholarly Mike Wazowski!

That’s right — there’s a brand new Monsters University MagicBand now available at Disney Springs and we can’t stop screaming about it! We’re totally diggin’ on its dark navy blue background color which will look great with the rest of our Monsters U gear we’ve already picked out for our enrollment this fall.

One side of the wrist strap features the “MU” logo and a baby Mike Wazowski as his studious self!

And while it looks like Sulley must’ve been tied up hittin’ the books, some of their monster classmates have lent their shape to the other side of the strap!
