Popular Epcot Performer returning to Epcot

Popular Epcot Performer returning to Epcot epcot

A familiar face will be returning to delight Epcot guests when the theme park reopens in July. Carol Stein has been playing the piano at Walt Disney World for over 30 years. Her fans could catch her performing at the Rose and Crown Pub at Epcot’s UK Pavilion in recent years. Those who enjoy her piano music will be delighted to hear she’ll be back at the theme park in a few more weeks.

Carol Stein wrote a public message on social media for her friends and followers to read. She announced her joy in returning to Epcot and revealed her new piano location, which is beneath the gazebo in the UK Pavilion. However, there is no schedule released yet, so we don’t know what dates and times she’ll be performing in the English Gardens. You can read her message to the public below here:

Popular Epcot Performer returning to Epcot

“As many of you know. Walt Disney World will be opening to guests in phases in July.
The Disney company wants to be sure that Guests and Cast Members will be able to stay safe while being a part of the magic.

I am feeling incredibly fortunate that Disney has informed me I will be returning to perform at EPCOT the week of July 15.
However, …….. I will not be performing in the Rose & Crown Pub…

Instead….. I will be playing the piano and singing songs under the beautiful Gazebo in the English Gardens in the UK Pavilion at EPCOT.

I do not know the details of my schedule yet … the days I will be performing or the show times. Everything is fluid and subject to change.

The only constant in the universe is that Life is filled with change …. “Flexibility“ seems to be the word of the day.

I hope you are all healthy and dealing with the present challenges in life. I look forward to seeing you all soon.“

‘Jurassic Park’ Becomes Number 1 at the Box Office, 27 Years After Premiering in Theaters

‘Jurassic Park’ Becomes Number 1 at the Box Office, 27 Years After Premiering in Theaters

Jurassic Park‘ Becomes Number 1 at the Box Office, 27 Years After Premiering in Theaters. With theaters slowly getting the chance to reopen their doors, many companies have brought out classic films to help draw in crowds. One such title is the 1993 action-thriller, Jurassic Park.

The film easily claimed the number 1 slot at the box office over Father’s Day Weekend, earning approximately  $517,600 USD with Jaws coming in second earning $516,300 USD. Both films earned more in their theatrical re-release than newer titles, The Invisible Man and Trolls World Tour. Other classic films re-released in theaters included: Back to the Future, E.T., and The Goonies.

Fans of the original Jurassic Park films will be glad to know the next film in the franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion, will see the return of three original cast members from Jurassic Park, Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm) and Sam Neill (Alan Grant). The franchise veterans will be joining Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing) and Isabella Sermon (Maisie) from the second trilogy. It has also been shared that Dern, Goldblum, and Neill will have major roles in the film and will not take a back seat to the action in Dominion.

Chris Pratt was so excited to share the news and said it wasn’t easy keeping it quiet, “Man, I can’t tell you anything, but I can tell you it’s going to blow your mind. It’ll be the biggest and best yet. They spare no expense and they’re bringing everybody back.” Chris Pratt added that he’s had to keep it a secret for a long time. “I’m a professional secret-keeper in these movies,” he joked.

It was also announced that ‘Jurassic World: Dominion‘ will not be the last film in the Jurassic Park Franchise. Recently, Jurassic World producer Frank Marshall spoke with Collider regarding the third film in the second trilogy and shared insight into the future of the franchise. In the interview with Collider, Marshall was asked if Dominion would be the finale of the franchise and he immediately shut down that idea with an exuberant “No.” and added,  “It’s the start of a new era. The dinosaurs are now on the mainland amongst us, and they will be for quite some time, I hope.”

Not too much is known about the plot points for the film, but the studio has shared Dominion is not an ending, rather the true beginning for the future of the franchise. Creating an all new world where people and dinosaurs will have to learn to live with one another.
