There’s some really exciting stuff including Hamilton, Muppets Now, as well as a new travel series called Rogue Trip — to name just a few of the things we’re looking forward to being released soon!

But it looks like Disney+ has suddenly (and very quietly) stopped offering its 7-day free trial of the subscription service in the United States. U.S. residents are no longer able to download the app for free, but instead must commit to purchasing at least one month of the service if they wish to view any of this new exclusive content!

In a statement to The Verge, a Disney spokesperson shared, “We continue to test and evaluate different marketing, offers, and promotions to grow Disney+. The service was set at an attractive price-to-value proposition that we believe delivers a compelling entertainment offering on its own.”

Disney+ currently costs $6.99, or $12.99 if you purchase the Hulu and ESPN Plus bundle.

See a FULL list of programs coming to Disney+ here!

What do you think of Disney+’s timing with removing their free trial offer? Do you think it has something to do with Hamilton coming out soon? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
