#DisneyMagicMoments: Learn to Draw Iron Man at Home

In honor of the reopening of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort later this week, I’m excited to bring you an exclusive step-by-step tutorial of how to draw Iron Man as seen in the Iron Man Experience attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Grab your arc reactor, a pencil or two and some paper to join Brian Crosby, Creative Director, Themed Entertainment from Marvel Entertainment for a how-to tutorial on drawing my favorite armored Avenger:

For even more ways you and your family can enjoy Disney magic from the comfort of your own home, check out our latest #DisneyMagicMoments and our Learn to Draw Spider-Man tutorial as well!

Could the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Series Be on a Hiatus? Here’s What We’re Seeing.

Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Series is a collection of merch that Disney started releasing monthly at the beginning of this year.

Could the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Series Be on a Hiatus? Here’s What We’re Seeing.

The first few collections were able to be sold online, in the parks, and in stores. But with the parks and stores being closed over the last few months, the collection has been sold strictly online (except for a few pieces that popped up when World of Disney reopened).  But now, we’re noticing some strange changes pertaining to the monthly collection online.

As you may remember, Disney shared that “new collection product launches and limited-edition merchandise will not be available for in-person purchases at Walt Disney World Resort until further notice. As always, Guests can find these items on shopDisney, subject to availability.”

So while we didn’t expect to see June’s release of the Main Attraction series at Disney Springs, we have noticed that the expected June 20th release date for the Peter Pan’s Flight series is no longer listed on shopDisney.

The website now states that it will be available soon.

In fact, there are no months listed for any of the remaining collections. Instead, they just read series 8,9, and so on.

Even the new series preview for the upcoming King Arthur Carrousel collection does list a release date on the site.

The language on the site currently reads, “Minnie Will Return Soon. Minnie has headed on summer vacation! Stay tuned and check back right here for the upcoming releases of Series 6 through 12. You won’t miss a thing as you build your magical collection.”

While this may make it seem like the collection releases are being delayed, we do want to mention that the shopDisney UK site (which US peeps can purchase from) still lists the collection as available starting June 18th. The UK site seems to have no mention of Minnie’s “summer break.”

So, does this mean that the upcoming series are delayed? Could it be a glitch on the site? We will continue to watch the site for updates. For now, we still think it’s worth logging on early to check it out just in case! These collections go FAST, so if it is released as planned, you don’t wanna miss out. If Disney releases more information regarding the language change, we will be sure to let you know!

Have you been collecting the Main Attraction Series? Let us know in the comments below.

You Want to Flock to Disney Springs for This Flamingo Dress

Now that the Marketplace Co-op is open, and The Dress Shop along with it, we’re able to see some Disney dresses in person, that for a time were only available online. This bright and fun Disney flamingo halter dress is the perfect way to stand out from the rest of the flock.

The halter-style top is trimmed in dark pink. The pattern is a yellow base with pink flamingos in various poses, and summer touches like sunglasses. The flamingos resemble the ones from Fantasia 2000 which is reason enough for me to want this dress. There is a mouse hat detail on the back that adds another layer of fun.

A New Harry Potter Theme Park Is Coming To Tokyo In 2023

On June 12, a Japanese news program, Kyodo News reported that Seibu Railway would be closing its 94-year-old amusement park Toshimaen. According to the news the amusement park will officially close on August 31st and construction will begin on the new Harry Potter- themed park. They expect the Harry Potter theme park to open at the beginning of 2023.

According to timeout.com this theme park will be more like the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London. It will not have rides but a walk through of sets and props from the movies. It seems like Japan will soon be an amazing place to visit for Harry Potter fans with this new theme park and Universal Studios Japan which also has a Wizarding World.
