This includes both consumer-direct and third-party bookings.

New Nacho Sundae at Ghirardelli in Disney Springs

New Nacho Sundae at Ghirardelli in Disney Springs Ghirardelli

There’s an incredible new ice cream sundae at Disney Springs! If you’re seeking a cool dessert, then consider visiting Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate for a great day a Disney Springs.

The Nacho Sundae consists of cinnamon sugar pita chips, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, diced almonds, and whipped cream with a cherry on top. You can see a video of what the ice cream sundae looks like in our Instagram.

Overall, the Nacho Sundae is a fantastic new menu item at the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop. It sounds funny to admit that the cinnamon sugar pita chips reminded us of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch breakfast cereal. We used the chips to dip into the ice cream and fudge to enjoy a combination of flavors packed into one bite. The vanilla ice cream at Ghirardelli is always great quality, plus the hot fudge is decadent and pairs well with the toppings. This is definitely a refreshing dessert I would recommend for anyone looking to escape the summer heat!

The Nacho Sundae costs $14.50 plus tax. The ice cream sundae is big enough to share, but you might just eat the whole thing once you taste it! Next time you visit Ghirardelli at Disney Springs, consider trying this sweet treat. We’re sure you’ll love it as much as we did!

Believe in Magic as Hong Kong Disneyland Announces Reopening on June 18

At Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, it is my privilege to work with an incredible team of cast members to help share the magic with our guests. Over the past few months, we’ve been moved by your understanding and patience as we navigated an unprecedented closure. During this time, we took measured steps to maintain guest offerings at our hotels, with adjusted levels of service, and in May we reopened additional dining experiences.

Today, as our surrounding community takes steps towards recovery, I’m thrilled to announce that Hong Kong Disneyland will also reopen to the public on June 18.

We are proud to be part of the Hong Kong community, which has worked hard and shown fortitude in how it has handled the pandemic.  As we carefully welcome guests back to our park, we will draw on the learnings from the recent reopening of Shanghai Disney Resort and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. Similarly, we will also implement new and enhanced health and safety measures following the guidance of our local government and health care officials.

If you haven’t already, we encourage you to read the recent blog post from the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Pamela Hymel to learn more about our approach. While some things will look and feel different than before, the magic continues and we’re excited to once again share our park with you because the magic begins with you.

During this initial reopening phase, the park will open with limited attendance. The park will implement social distancing requirements in queues, restaurants, attraction vehicles and at other facilities throughout the park, and will increase the frequency of sanitization and disinfection in high-guest contact areas.

As Hong Kong becomes the second Disney park to reopen, the rest of the Disney Parks family around the world continues to believe in magic and prepare for their own reopening moments. Like us they’re eager to welcome guests back to reunite with family and friends – to imagine all that is possible regardless of the situation, to celebrate postponed milestones and to make magical, new memories.

We’re also thrilled to share a sneak peek of magic in the making as we enter into the final stage of our Castle of Magical Dreams transformation, which will be a magnificent centerpiece of the park.

Stay tuned for more Disney Parks news and stories from Hong Kong Disneyland on reopening day! And remember, you can always experience the magic of Disney from anywhere you are on DisneyMagicMoments.com and share your stories with #DisneyMagicMoments on social media.

See you real soon!

Hong Kong Disneyland Announces Reopening on June 18th

Hong Kong Disneyland Announces Reopening on June 18th Hong Kong Disneyland

Today we are thrilled to announce that Hong Kong Disneyland will also reopen to the public on June 18th with reduced capacity, enhanced health and safety procedures and a new reservation system for all guests. All guests entering the park will be required to undergo temperature screening and wear face masks.

During this initial reopening phase, all guests, including park ticket holders, Magic Access members and complimentary ticket holders, will be required to make a reservation for their visit date with their valid tickets or membership cards through the Hong Kong Disneyland Park Visit Reservation website.

Magic Access members may make a reservation beginning eight days prior to their visit. General guests may make a reservation beginning seven days prior to their visit. Guests with reservations are required to present valid tickets or membership cards for entry. A reservation is not required for children below three years of age and they can enjoy free park admission as usual.

Magic Access members can reserve one day earlier, beginning on June 15 and reservations for other guests will begin at 12 p.m. Hong Kong time on June 16. Guests need to make a health declaration as part of their pre-arrival reservation process.

At reopening, the majority of Hong Kong Disneyland’s attractions, shopping and dining locations will resume operations, with controlled capacity. Guests can check the availability of attractions and entertainment through the resort’s official website and app.

Health and safety measures

The park will implement social distancing in queues, restaurants, attraction vehicles and other facilities throughout the park. Character experiences requiring close interaction and close-up photos will be temporarily suspended. Other character experience opportunities that can accommodate social distancing will be available in locations throughout the park. The resort is also gradually resuming its hotel services.

The frequency of sanitization and disinfection measures in high-guest contact areas will be increased in order to augment the standards of cleanliness already in place throughout the resort, and extra hand sanitizers will be available.

We all have an important role to play in promoting health and safety. As we do our part, we also ask our guests to do theirs, by wearing face masks, respecting social distancing and other guidelines.

The Magic Begins with You

Our cast members cannot wait to welcome guests back to the park. Guests will get a sneak peek of the magic in the making with the transformation of the Castle of Magical Dreams, a magnificent centerpiece of the park. The Castle now enters its final stage of transformation before opening later this year bringing new magic to Hong Kong Disneyland.

Magic Access members should visit the website for information about their membership and extensions. For more details on tickets, hotels, dining and transportation to the resort, please visit www.hongkongdisneyland.com.
