The Bourne Stuntacular, the most technologically-advanced stunt show yet, is now open at Universal Studios Florida. Through the use of live performers, ground-breaking technology, extreme stunts and captivating practical effects, guests can now feel fully immersed in the world of Jason Bourne – blurring the lines between stage and cinema in a hybrid form of entertainment that has never been seen before.

The brand-new stunt show is inspired by Universal Pictures’ blockbuster Bourne film franchise and delivers an all-new, original storyline that takes place within the Bourne universe. Plus, exclusively for The Bourne Stuntacular, Julia Stiles has reprised her role as Jason Bourne’s main confidant in the franchise, Nicky Parsons, and Frank Marshall, award-winning director and producer, has worked closely with the Universal Orlando team to help create an authentic experience fan of the franchise can enjoy.

The Bourne Stuntacular introduces an all-new level of entertainment, highlighted by:

• Nicky Parsons, played by Julia Stiles, briefing and recruiting guests for the mission at hand, which is to keep an eye on Bourne to ensure he’s not fooled by rogue double agents
• An all-new storyline that follows the character of Jason Bourne as he travels across three continents and the cities of Tangier, Washington, D.C. and Dubai to uncover classified information while trying to evade danger and capture at every turn
• Actual props, images and clips from the films – including the car from the iconic chase scene in The Bourne Identity, and Jason’s go-to form of transportation in The Bourne Ultimatum, his motorcycle – that pay homage to the Bourne films as guests walk through the queue

Plus, Florida Residents can add a day at Universal’s Volcano Bay for only $25 more. The Buy a Day, Get a 2nd Day Free offer can be used through December 18, 2020 with no blockout dates and tickets may be used on non-consecutive days.

Plus, recently launched, guests can get up to three months FREE on any Universal Orlando Seasonal and Annual Pass. As we officially open this all-new experience, the health and safety of our guests and team members remains our top priority. To ensure proper social distancing, we have implemented new procedures in our indoor theaters, including appropriate spacing between travel parties and assisting our guests with seating and exiting the theater to avoid congestion. These procedures mean that our show capacity will be limited and wait times may be longer than usual to experience the show. We have also increased our already-aggressive cleaning procedures and are sanitizing high-touch surfaces between each show. All guests are also required to wear a face covering while experiencing The Bourne Stuntacular.

Award Winning Comedian and Actor Carl Reiner Dies at Age 98. Carl Reiner was an American comedian, actor, director, screenwriter, and publisher whose career spanned seven decades. Some of his most notable work includes: The Dick Van Dyke Show and Ocean’s Eleven film series. Reiner was most recently featured in Toy Story 4 and Forky Asks a Question: What is Love? as “Carl Reineroceros”.

The news of Carl’s passing was shared by his family and assistant, confirming Carl passed away from natural causes peacefully in his home in Beverly Hills. His son, Rob Reiner stated in a tweet, “Last night [Monday night] my dad passed away. As I write this my heart is hurting. He was my guiding light.”

Select third-party restaurants and stores began to reopen in Disney Springs on May 20th.

However, Paddlefish and Terralina Crafted Italian welcomed guests back on Friday, May 29th, a few days after World of Disney and several Disney-owned properties resumed.

But even though more and more businesses have reopened, crowds have remained relatively light at Disney World’s shopping and entertainment district. Now, both Disney Springs restaurants have been forced to make the difficult decision to lay off some of their employees.

Paddlefish and Terralina Crafted Italian are run by the same company, Levy Restaurants, and they’ve submitted a notice to the state of Florida that they’ll be laying off  87 workers at its Paddlefish dining location and an additional 56 staff members at Terralina Crafted Italian, effective August 1st, 2o20.

In addition to the layoffs, Levy’s Restaurants has also stated employees who will be keeping their jobs at Paddlefish and Terralina Crafted Italian may see their hours reduced if business doesn’t pick up.

All employees who will be laid off will be invited to apply for future positions when business returns to its normal volume at both locations.

A few months ago we saw the arrival of Disney Loungefly backpacks that are made of canvas material. It seems like this material would hold up better than the faux leather used in most Loungefly bags, and would be easy to clean too. Two more canvas designs have been recently released, and they are already very popular.

The first is a Mickey Mouse Balloon pattern. The bright blue base offers a nice contrast to the bright-colored Mickey balloon embroidered pattern. Another design pays tribute to The Enchanted Tiki Room. It has a bright green base with colorful tiki room birds patterned throughout, and tan handles at the top.
