These are fluffy like plushies but have a zipper and a purse strap. Each bag has three-dimensional elements, like Sulley’s horns and Mike’s limbs. Mike has a more velour like texture, while Sulley is quite fuzzy with polka-dots. KITTY! Each bag also has embroidered details for their facial expressions!  They are like purses you can cuddle!

These fun and fluffy bags retail for $24.99 and can be found at World of Disney in Disney Springs.

What do you think of these adorable little Monsters INC Purses?

Special thanks to our friend Susan for these cute pics!

Another fan favorite store has reopened in Disney Springs. Goofy’s Candy Co reopened this week and they have a couple of new safety measures in place.

The main door out front is now an entrance only and the side door is the exit. They are monitoring how many people are in the shop at once.

Goofy’s Glaciers wasn’t open when we visited on Thursday. Also they have changed the arm on the bulk candy. There is a much longer pole to fill your bulk candy bags to minimize the chance of your hands touching the candy.

The actual candy counter was still open. There’s a fun poster of Goofy reminding everyone what to do before going on duty.

There are social distancing markers on the floor for the candy counter and register areas.

It was great to see Disney Springs slowly get their stores back up and running and we were excited to walk around Goofy’s Candy Co again. It wasn’t exactly the Confectionary on Main Street but it works for now! It was so great to see some Mickey-shaped treats again.

New Mickey Waffle Phone Case Is Cute and Clunky

It seems imagination knows no bounds when it comes to creative Disney phone case designs. At World of Disney at Disney Springs we discovered a Mickey Waffle phone case. The back of your phone will appear to be a tasty pair of freshly buttered Mickey Waffles, thanks to the oversized case. The ears of the waffles extend beyond the frame of the phone.

This is the latest addition to a variety of clunky, cute, but impractical Disney phone cases. It is priced at $34.99.

Aerial view of Cinderella Castle Construction before reopening!

With Cinderella Castle construction announced earlier this year, we now have an aerial view of Cinderella Castle construction to see how the process is coming along right before the planned reopening of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! The royal makeover is in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of the animated feature film Cinderella. With plans to update the blue into a royal blue as well as introduce some rose gold and gold colors to the castle. Previously, the work was quickly halted due to closure of the park following the global pandemic. However, due to the scheduled reopening, work has restarted again as shown by the aerial view of Cinderella Castle construction photos!

The aerial view of Cinderella Castle construction photos was shared by twitter account Bioreconstruct, check out the tweet below!

As you can see from the photos, the royal blue update suits the castle so well, making it more distinctive and gives the castle an update! Likewise, the tallest spire is now completely gold which is simply beautiful!

More work is still required before the completion of the planned construction. As you can see, the surrounding Fantasyland buildings are needing to be updated from the former color scheme.

Disneyland Resort has announced a phased reopening of its theme parks next month. Pending state and local government approvals, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will plan to reopen on July 23. The Disneyland Hotel will open at a later date.

Guests with an upcoming Disneyland reservation from June 28-July 22, 2020 are receiving notifications that their stays will be impacted by the current closure and they may modify or cancel their Disney Resort hotel reservations or Walt Disney Travel Company packages.

Below is a sample of the email guests are receiving:

“Dear Guest:

We are sorry to inform you that your upcoming visit with us will be impacted by several closures.

While there is still much uncertainty with respect to the impacts of COVID-19, the safety and well-being of our Guests and employees remain Disneyland Resort’s top priority.
