Who Messed With the TV?! A Simple Answer For Why Your Disney+ Might No Longer Be Working!

You know how it goes…you finally get home after a long day, take off your shoes, and plop down on the couch to do a little Disney+ bingeing only to find out your TV isn’t working!

There go all of your best-laid plans! But believe it or not, several Disney+ subscribers are having this problem — and they’ve all got ONE thing in common. Here’s a hint: it’s NOT spotty wi-fi!

As first reported by Distractify.com for some mysterious reason (which our technologically-challenged brains will probably never understand) Disney+ is not working on some Samsung TV models — specifically ones from 2016!

Muppets Now Coming Soon to Disney Plus

Disney is currently working with Samsung to resolve the manufacturing issue, but if you’ve encountered this problem there are a few steps to try first before throwing in towel. When it doubt, ALWAYS turn your device on and off! Try restarting your TV and the Disney+ app — if this still doesn’t fix it, you can also uninstall and re-install the Disney+ app.

Disneyland sends out survey over masks and temp checks

disneyland

The Orange County Register is reporting that Disneyland is sending annual passholders a survey about protective face masks, temperature checks at park entrances, and pre-arrival health questionnaires.

This survey asks for feedback on how likely passholders would be to visit the Disneyland Resort if certain health and safety measures were implemented. One series of questions focused on three potential reopening options with regards to masks, temperature checks, and health questionnaires.

In all three scenarios, operational changes at the parks included: Reduced attendance, social distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols and COVID-19 employee training.

Option 1 presented a scenario in which visitors were encouraged but not required to wear face masks. Option 2 required masks for visitors ages 3 years and over as well as temperature screenings before entering the park. Option 3 was identical to the second option, except the mask age was boosted to 10 years and over.

All three options included pre-arrival COVID-19 health questionnaires for visitors.

The Disneyland Resort remains closed and there’s no update on when they might submit reopening plans. California theme parks can reopen during California’s stage 3 of reopening and the governor says that could be as early as this month.

Filming for the ‘Avatar’ Sequels has Resumed in New Zealand

Filming for the ‘Avatar’ Sequels has Resumed in New Zealand. Recently, New Zealand approved the resumption of filming for various film studios including the studio housing the filming for the Avatar sequels which are being filmed simultaneously.

The news comes from Producer, Jon Landau, who shared a photo of himself and director James Cameron on the tarmac at Wellington International Airport in New Zealand.

As we previously shared, the Avatar sequels are being film simultaneously in an unprecedented manor that is rather un heard of in the film industry. Director James Cameron has confirmed they have finished filming for Avatar 2 and are currently working on filming for Avatar 3-5. Despite production on set being shut down, many VFX artists were still hard at work on the films, so there is little chance of a delay in the films release in December 2021.

We are very excited to see filming resume on the Avatar sequels and can’t wait for more photos and insight into the filmmaking process. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Disney!

Josh Gad Says His Kids Are Over Olaf from ‘Frozen’

Josh Gad Says His Kids Are Over Olaf from ‘Frozen’. Recently, Josh Gad appeared virtually on The Graham Norton Show and discussed the work he is doing while in quarantine and shared that he has a giant promotional Olaf statue from a movie theater and doesn’t have the heart to get rid of it.

Gad also talked about the fact that his daughters are over Olaf and are much more interested in Moana rather than Anna and Elsa. Also joking that they should be more appreciative because the role of Olaf has helped awarded them the lifestyle they are now used to.

You can watch the clip of Josh’s conversation with Graham Norton in the video shared below:

We love that Josh keeps reminders of his work around his office and has been working hard to keep audiences entertained during this uncertain time in our world.

Between reading bedtime stories on weeknights to help kids sleep, recording Olaf shorts from home to share with fans, and preparing for his busy future film schedule, Josh has been juggling all his tasks and still manages to make appearance on talk shows and appearances in the Disney Family Singalongs! Whew, don’t forget to take a break once in a while Josh!

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Josh Gad, especially with Disney, but in the meantime it’s great to see how dedicated he is to his fans. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for all things Disney.
