Guess Who’s Back?! The Color Block Corkcicles Have RETURNED in Disney Springs!

Although merchandise comes and goes in Walt Disney World, it can pretty exciting when you’re surprised with a returning item that you thought was gone for good!

The Basket at Wine Bar George

Ever since Wine Bar George’s The Basket has been serving up its “Fries and Frozen” promo, we’ve been snagging up all that frozen Dole Whip goodness in their cute, reusable Corkcickles they sell. But soon after we first spotted the newest color option, the restaurant was all out of the accompanying teal and lime color block Corkcicles.

We were told that there was a possibility that the new Color Block Corkcicle would not be returning after it sold out, but we were SUPER excited to see it was back again today!

New Corkcicle

Remember that the refill procedures are a bit different now! You can still go back to The Basket for $10 refills of FroscatoFrosé, or Freaujolais after purchasing a Corkcicle for $13, but the quick-stop will put your drink in a plastic cup instead of directly in the Corkcicle.

New Corkcicle Procedure

Even though they used to refill it inside the Corkcicle itself, The Basket is following the health and safety procedures at Disney Springs during this time. If you want the refill, you’ll still need to bring your Corkcicle along with you to show to the cashier to get the discount! Those frozen drinks are SO worth it, though.

Read our full review of Wine Bar George’s re-opening here!

NEWS: This Spot Is MISSING in Disney Springs Today!

We’ve been going to Disney Springs every day to bring all the news you need to know (and to get a Froscato, of course).

Disney Springs

While there have been plenty of restaurants and stores re-opening around the shopping and dining district, we couldn’t help but notice that one place had disappeared today!

Although Joffrey’s Coffee is open for guests to grab some Face Coffee, the Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies kiosk on the West Side is gone!

Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies Area

Instead of the kiosk, there are a bunch of plants and shrubs in the area instead.

Where Did Joffrey’s Go??

While the Marketplace kiosk is still open…

Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies

…we’re not sure if the West Side Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies will be returning or if this is just a temporary move!

Missing Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies

Cast Members weren’t sure if the location would be coming back or not, so we’ll keep you updated on whether Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies’ disappearance is temporary or permanent!

We’ve got all the details on how you can drink your Joffrey’s Coffee with a face mask here!

What’s your favorite Joffrey’s drink? Let us know in the comments below!

Is It Happy Hour?? A Bunch of Disney Springs Bars Have Reopened Today!

We spotted several bars at Disney Springs that have now reopened!

Disney Springs

Looking for a place to grab a drink in Disney Springs? Well then, we have great news! Now that most of the state of Florida has entered Phase Two of Governor Ron DeSantis’s Safe. Smart. Step-by-Step. Plan for Florida’s Recovery, bars have been given the green light to reopen.

And on our walk-through of Disney Springs, we noticed that a handful of locations have now reopened their bar seating. So, where can you go to snag a spot at the bar?

The Front Porch Bar at House of Blues

Well, let’s start with The Front Porch Bar at House of Blues! While the restaurant and retail store had already reopened earlier this week, the patio and outdoor bar are now welcoming back guests as well.

The Front Porch Bar at House of Blues

The patio is also offering live music performances and happy hour specials!

House of Blues Happy Hour Specials

Guests are asked to maintain social distancing of at least six feet, and contactless payments and menus are available.

Check out the newly reopened House of Blues!

Wine Bar George

Bar seating has also resumed at one of our favorite Disney Springs restaurants, Wine Bar George! For now, bar seating is very limited and is only available downstairs.

Wine Bar George Bar Seating

Wine Bar George has implemented a number of new health and safety measures upon reopening.

Have you seen these loaded fries from The Basket at Wine Bar George??

The Boathouse

The indoor bar at The Boathouse is reopened, but guests are asked not to move the barstools from their current locations.

The Boathouse Indoor Bar

The outside bar at The Boathouse is still closed for now!

We visited The Boathouse when it reopened, check out our experience!

Paradiso 37

We noticed a similar situation at Paradiso 37 — the indoor bar is now reopened, but the outdoor bar is still currently closed.

Paradiso 37 Indoor Bar

Pairs of barstools were spaced apart in order to encourage social distancing.

Paradiso 37 recently updated its operating hours!

STK Orlando

Bar seating is also now available at STK Orlando.

STK Orlando

They will be keeping an empty bar seat between each party in order to allow for distancing.

Check out our review of the reopened STK Orlando!

The Polite Pig

And The Polite Pig has reopened both the outdoor and indoor bars. Here’s a peek at the outdoor seating…

The Polite Pig Outdoor Bar

…and here’s a look at the reopened indoor bar seating!

The Polite Pig Indoor Bar

We spotted a private barrel bourbon flight on the menu here, so the bar seating could be a great place to give it a try!

Check out our review of the NEW menu items at The Polite Pig!

So, if you’re looking for a place at Disney Springs to grab a quick drink, these newly reopened bars should give you several options to consider!

Looking for something sweet? Amorette’s Patisserie is now reopened in Disney Springs!

Download these classic Coloring pages from the Walt Disney Archives

Coloring pages

Today, we’re taking a look at coloring pages, which is an amazing activity that’s fun for all ages at home. Coloring is considered a staple childhood activity, and coloring books actually represent a part of Disney history. The Walt Disney Company has been producing Disney coloring books since the 1930s, so tons of material exists!

We’ve compiled a selection of coloring pages provided by the Walt Disney Archives. These pages featuring classic Disney characters and Disneyland locations. If you want to color your own Disney artwork, then keep scrolling down to see your options!

Donald Duck carrying a signature Mickey-shaped ballon at Disneyland. You can print this page here.

Goofy playing a classic arcade game. You can print the coloring page here.

Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy are enjoying a fun-filled day with a horse-drawn ride down Main Street. You can download the coloring page here.

When was the last time you colored? You might want to seek out more Disney art opportunities in the future. We hope you enjoy these retro coloring pages and express your Disney side in art!

If You Sleep On These Disney+ Shows, Do We Even Know You Anymore?

Tired of rewatching the same old Disney movies or waiting for new stuff to arrive on Disney+?

©Disney

We feel ya there! That’s why we’ve decided to crack open some Capri Suns, bust out the Fruit Roll-Ups, and revisit a few of our favorite TV series from the past that are currently streaming on Disney+!

Shows like The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Prop Culture, The Imagineering Story, and One Day at Disney have all been gettin’ some major love! Heck, even WE are rendered completely helpless by The World According to Jeff Goldblum. It’s all we ever wanna watch every time we plop down on our sofas!

The World According to Jeff Goldblum ©Disney

But here are a few Disney+ shows nobody’s talking about — even though EVERYONE should be! And if you’re an 80s baby, you might be surprised to learn that so many of the shows you grew up with are now streaming on Disney+! Let’s take a look!

See which shows we think every ride or die Disney parks fan should watch here!

The Simpsons

Now you might not associate Bart Simpson’s wisecrack antics with Disney’s more gentle and calm family-friendly programming, but the company acquired 20th Century Fox which is why you can watch 30 seasons of The Simpsons currently on Disney+!

The Simpsons ©20th Century Fox

Now if you’re a true Homer-aficionado, you might not be in love with the widescreen formatting which tends to cut off some of the screen of the first nearly 20 seasons. Disney has assured us they are currently working on the problem and are hoping to offer a fullscreen version of The Simpsons in the near future!

America’s Funniest Videos

Long before YouTube or social media were ever a thing, people watched viral videos on a little show called America’s Funniest Home Videos — or AFV for short!

AFV ©Disney

Bob Saget (the comedian dad who portrayed Danny Tanner on Full House) was the original host of AFV, but you’ll only find nine seasons of America’s Funniest Home Videos on Disney+ and they’re ALL the Tom Bergeron years — from 2002 to 2012! Don’t worry, they’re still totally hilarious and just as dated as you remember them, even if they do lack that Danny Tanner charm!

Gargoyles

Do you remember the niche cartoon, Gargoyles? It aired from 1994 to 1996 and was a little RISKY by Disney standards!

Gargoyles ©Disney

But Disney is no stranger to dark stuff (just look at all the wicked villainy that takes place in many classic Disney films!). If you’ve ever wanted to know how 1,000-year-old gargoyles from Scotland cope with modern-day city life in New York after being awoken from a curse, check it out!

X-Men

Another show you might be surprised to see on Disney+ is the mega-popular 90s X-Men series. Although Disney didn’t play a role in creating the animated show, which loosely follows the Marvel comic books, the show was previously aired on Fox (like The Simpsons). This is how the mutants came to be live on the Disney streaming service.

X-Men © Disney

If you’ve watched X-Men before, you’ll remember many of the episodes are sequential — playing out like a cartoon soap opera at times with complicated love relationships forming between many of the characters. Next time you’re endlessly scrolling through the  Disney+ library for something to watch, how about checkin’ in with your old buds Gambit, Rogue, Cyclops, Beast, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Professor X, and Magneto!

Bonkers

While The Disney Afternoon had great success with hit shows like DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, and Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers (which are also ALL available on Disney+!), only one season of Bonkers was ever made — which is SAD! Bonkers is and forever shall be one of the most truly under-appreciated Disney shows!

Bonkers ©Disney

The cartoon aired in 1993 and follows the lovable Bonkers T. Bobcat — a movie star turned comedy cop. We think we love this show as much as we do because it put off some MAJOR Roger Rabbit vibes at times!

TaleSpin

Remember when The Jungle Book’s Baloo and King Louie got their own cartoon spin-off…flying planes? It was the 90s and it was a glorious time to be alive!

TaleSpin ©Disney

But just like our friend Bonkers T. Bobcat, Baloo only got to fly the friendly skies for one season. We still can’t get its theme song out of our heads!

The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

While the Winnie the Pooh books and movies are classic, we think it was The New Adventures of  Winnie the Pooh cartoon series that made us fall in love with the silly old bear and his Hundred Acre crew!

The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ©Disney

Four seasons of the show were made from 1988 to 1991 and, although Winnie the Pooh’s voice is provided actor Jim Cummings and not Sterling Halloway (the original actor who did a lot of voice work for Disney including Pooh in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), it’s still a quality re-watch! Plus, the theme song is a straight-up JAM!

Adventures of the Gummi Bears

And while we’re on the subject of bears, there’s one final show we can’t fail to mention. The Gummi Bears!

Adventures of the Gummi Bears ©Disney

Do you remember these guys bouncing here and there and EVERYWHERE, ’cause we sure do! We bet our moms do too because we were usually flying around the room whenever this cartoon was on (pretending we had our very own Gummi Bear Juice, of course!). We’re not sure if we can muster that same level of energy, but we’re still enthusiastic about this great show. Check out all six seasons of Adventures of the Gummi Bears now on Disney+!

We love watching these throwback shows on Disney+! It helps to make us feel like a kid again!!

Check out which classic Disney TV broadcast will be getting its own movie reboot here!

Which cartoon series from The Disney Afternoon was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
