New Picnic Punch now available at Starbucks in Disney Springs

New Picnic Punch now available at Starbucks in Disney Springs Starbucks Picnic Punch

If there’s one thing Starbucks knows how to do, it’s creating beautiful and tasty new drinks that everybody has to try (and Instagram!). Well, they’ve done it again! On our last trip to Disney Springs, we were lucky enough to try the colorful new Picnic Punch.

New Picnic Punch now available at Starbucks in Disney Springs

Picnic Punch starts off as a pineapple matcha drink and is topped with strawberry sweet cream cold foam. Wow, it’s pretty! It reminded us of a reversal of last year’s Millenial Falcon drink (a pink drink topped with matcha foam) and had that same level of refreshment. The initial flavor hit is strong with strawberry, which is sweet and fruity, then as the drink mixes, the tea flavor comes up more. The best part is definitely the cold foam where the taste of strawberry purée is clearest. But the whole beverage is refreshing and on the delicate side of Starbucks flavors.

It costs $7.40 before tax, so hopefully, you’ve been saving up some of those rewards from your morning fix. Whether you like coffee or not, this one is a great choice because it’s cool and light. However, if you really hate matcha or tea, steer clear. The matcha flavor gets strong towards the end.

The new Picnic Punch at @starbucks is super refreshing and a great beverage to try on your next trip to Disney Springs! It’s a pineapple matcha with strawberry purée cold foam. #disneysprings #waltdisneyworld #starbucks #disneyfood

Arendelle Aqua Punch is a Summer Treat at Disney Springs

Are you ready to head ”Into the Unknown”? If you don’t know already, we’re talking about a drink that would satisfy Queen Elsa herself: Arendelle Aqua Punch! This drink is available at The Daily Poutine at Disney Springs, so whether you are in the mood for some fries or just looking to cool down, this is a great time to stop over!

The beverage is an adults-only alcoholic cocktail, so don’t get your kids too excited about the pretty new Elsa drink (think Olaf’s ”When I’m older”). It’s filled with Coconut Rum, Peach Schnapps, Blue Curaçao, and fresh fruit juices. The taste is very light overall, almost like a flavored lemonade, and it is very fruity! It’s not overly sweet, nor does it taste heavily of alcohol. The abundance of ice makes it a great choice for cocktail-lovers who also want a reprieve from Orlando’s summer heat (”Some Things Never Change”). Olaf would approve.

The most fun part about this drink may just be the marble effect that it has. Though tricky to catch in photographs, the Arendelle Aqua Punch is shiny like a calming bottle and the color is bright blue, giving the impression that it mimics Elsa’s famous dress. This is definitely one for your Instagram account!

Try the Arendelle Aqua Punch over at The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs! It’s got coconut rum, blue curaçao, and fresh fruit juices, besides which it’s a beautiful color! #disneysprings #disneylife #waltdisneyworld #chipandco

Be our guest to Beast’s enchanted castle!

As we keep getting closer to the reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort on July 11th some changes need to be made, including with dining.

One of the restaurants that is getting modifications is “Be Our Guest” at Magic Kingdom. The first one is getting rid of the breakfast option that many people loved to enjoy before starting their day at the park.

The lunch option also had some changes, it went from quick-service to table-service with an updated menu and price.

The menu is now “prix fixe” and $62 instead of $19 for adults.

A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival starts July 15th

A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival starts July 15th

Many fans have questions on the upcoming festivals at Walt Disney World. With the many changes that are changing the way we visit the theme parks today, Disney has just announced a change to Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival.

As we prepare for the reopening of our theme parks next month, Disney is taking a measured and deliberate approach to their planning that applies appropriate new health and safety measures. They will continue to follow guidance from government and health officials for responsibly operating their theme parks, so they can make the right adjustments to their offerings, including the upcoming fall events.

One staple of the fall season at the Walt Disney World Resort is the annual EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Today, we’re pleased to share that not only have we cooked up a creative, modified festival experience, it will also be our longest festival yet – giving you plenty of time to enjoy “A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!”

A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival starts July 15th

This new take on the foodie festival will debut July 15 and continue through the fall, offering over 20 signature global marketplaces like Hawaii, Hops & Barley, and Islands of the Caribbean, spaced out around the park. And, if you’ve ever imagined a world where the floral fun of Flower & Garden is sprinkled in with the global goodies of Food & Wine, here’s your chance – guests will be able to see our newest topiary, Remy, in the France pavilion and find Flower & Garden merchandise. For scavenger hunt fans, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt returns. And stay tuned as Food & Wine merchandise joins the fun later on after the festival begins.

We know the popular musical acts during the “Eat to the Beat Concert Series” often pack the house and, in an effort to accommodate proper physical distancing, we will not be able to host these concerts this year. There will be plenty of music to enjoy at America Gardens Theatre with local EPCOT entertainment such as Mariachi Cobre, the JAMMitors and more. These fan favorites will spread out their performances throughout the day, giving audiences more options to enjoy them.

Are Some Disney Restaurants Changing from Buffet to Family Style?

Are Some Disney Restaurants Changing from Buffet to Family Style? disney restaurants

We reported earlier today that more Disney Cast Members will be returning to work and which locations they are returning too. Most are Disney restaurants. We noticed that some of those restaurants which are buffet style had the words ‘family style’ in parenthesis next to the restaurant name.

Two of the restaurants listed were Chef Mickey’s and Biergarten. These restaurants are normally buffet style where guests serve themselves. The ‘family style’ next to them could mean that they will no longer allow guests to serve themselves. Cast Members would bring guests food to their table on platters much like restaurants such as Ohana and Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue.

Disney has already shared that self serve changes will be implemented at Disney World. It was previously announced that beverages and other items that are usually self-serve will instead be served by Cast Members.

Keep in mind this is all speculation as Disney has not released an official statement regarding these restaurants switching from buffet style to family style.
