Disney’s Hollywood Studios surprised guests by opening its new Walt Disney Studios land six days ahead of schedule. The area features the brand-new Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! show, a family-friendly dance party that debuted previously at California Adventure. This exciting addition has taken over the former Animation Courtyard, which once housed attractions like the Star Wars Launch Bay. While some experiences remain closed until May 26th, guests can already explore the courtyard and discover hidden easter eggs placed by Disney Imagineering. Future attractions planned for the land include The Magic of Disney Animation, a whimsical Drawn to Wonderland Playground based on Mary Blair’s concept art, and Olaf Draws where visitors learn to draw with an audio-animatronic Olaf. The new area also promises Off the Page, a character meet-and-greet experience featuring beloved Disney characters. With so much to explore, crowds are expected to increase significantly during the upcoming summer season at this popular Florida theme park destination.
