Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is undergoing significant renovations to its guest rooms. The Kidani Village expansion, which opened in 2009, has been refurbished since last October and will finish later this month. Following this completion, renovations will begin at the original Jambo House building in May 2026, lasting until January 2027. Both projects aim to provide modernized accommodations while maintaining access to all hotel amenities including pools, dining options, and recreation areas. Guests will continue to enjoy Deluxe Tier benefits such as booking Lightning Lanes seven days in advance. The resort remains one of Disney World’s most popular accommodations due to its unique savanna theme and live animal inhabitants.
