We just got some serious clarification for the future of Disney World’s 2020 special events. To our delight, the 2020 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will occur, but in a new form — A Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Unfortunately, one popular offering will not be available; the Eat to the Beat Concert Series has been canceled.

Eat to the Beat Concerts are extremely popular and typically draw large crowds. In the interest of physical distancing and the safety of guests, performers, and Cast Members; Disney has announced that they will not be hosting these concerts this year.

They have, however, introduced a replacement. Local Epcot entertainment like Mariachi Cobre, the JAMMitors, and more will be performing at the America Garden Theatre in lieu of the concert series. Performances will be spread out over the course of the day so that guests have more of an opportunity to see them.
