This convenient update eliminates the need to wander Route 66 hoping to spot these beloved pit crew members. The timing coincides with Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, which begins on August 21st and brings back the Haul-O-Ween overlay to Disney California Adventure. During this festive season, visitors can enjoy Lightning, Mater, and other Cars characters in their holiday car-stumes throughout the park. Updated Disneyland app users will be able to plan their visits more effectively while catching all the Halloween festivities.
