Disney World Opens Walt Disney Studios Courtyard Early With Surprising Details

Disney World is opening new attractions ahead of their official dates to manage crowds effectively. The Walt Disney Studios courtyard opened early on May 26th, replacing the former Animation Courtyard. This new area is inspired by Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, featuring numerous nostalgic details. Visitors can find replicas of Pluto’s Corner with its iconic street sign and fire hydrant. The fencing displays Mickey Mouse motifs similar to those at the Burbank offices. Movie posters and stage signs create the atmosphere of a working animation studio. Various animated characters like Lucifer, Zazu, Pua, Thumper, and Abu appear throughout the space. Famous handprints including Quasimodo’s are also present for guests to admire. This transformation represents a significant improvement over the previous courtyard design.

Rock n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Opens at Hollywood Studios

The Rock n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Tuesday, May 26th, following exclusive previews for cast members and annual passholders. Many visitors have inquired whether this family-friendly version offers a smoother experience compared to the original Aerosmith iteration. The ride utilizes the exact same track and vehicles as the previous version, though some online comments suggested a smoother feel. Team members reported that the ride sensation is identical to the Aerosmith version, with the front four rows providing a slightly less intense experience. Riders who found the original version too intense may find the Muppets version equally thrilling, but seating in the front rows can reduce the shaking sensation. The ride remains just as fast and exciting, with the primary difference being the character theme rather than the mechanical experience. Visitors are encouraged to request front row seating for a less intense experience while still enjoying the full thrill of the attraction.

Bluey’s Wild World Arrives at Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom in 2026

Walt Disney World is preparing to introduce Bluey’s Wild World at Animal Kingdom, debuting on May 26, 2026, as part of the Cool Kids Summer event. The experience will feature interactive activities including Conservation Station, Jumping Junction, and the Wildlife Express Train, all accessible via a virtual queue system. Operating hours are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. daily, though these times may adjust based on crowd levels and operational needs. The attraction is expected to remain open until at least late 2027, contingent on visitor demand. While the experience targets families with young children, the author notes that the virtual queue logistics could be challenging due to high demand and limited capacity. The author also compares the Florida version to Disneyland’s Bluey experience, suggesting that the Florida attraction focuses more on a specific audience rather than all ages.
