Nearly twenty years after her breakthrough performance on Disney Channel, Demi Lovato is making a triumphant return to the franchise that launched her career. The entertainment giant announced that Lovato will reprise her iconic role as Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock 3 while also serving as an executive producer for the upcoming sequel. She will make a special cameo appearance in the movie which premieres on Disney Channel on August 13 before streaming availability begins the following day on Disney+. The film follows the Connect 3 trio as they search for a new opening act during their reunion tour, sparking a high-stakes competition among talented young campers. Directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, the project features choreography from Jamal Sims with executive production support from Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and others. Fans can already enjoy the lead single One Beat Away performed by Liamani and the cast across major music platforms ahead of the release. Additionally, a Worlds Collide Concert Tour uniting performers from multiple Disney franchises will launch in North America during fall 2026 before expanding internationally in 2027.
