Disney World is introducing a new expansion at Hollywood Studios that officially opens on September 14th. The Magic of Disney Animation takes over the former Star Wars Launch Bay location and features four distinct areas for guests to explore. One area called Olaf Draws offers animation classes where an animatronic Olaf teaches drawing alongside famous animators through screens. Another section named Off The Page allows visitors to meet various Disney characters representing different animation departments. A Drawn to Wonderland playground inspired by Mary Blair artwork provides a play area for children with musical instruments and themed playsets. The expansion also includes the Once Upon A Studio Theater which will show the Emmy Award-winning short film with enhanced effects. This new land represents the second phase of the Walt Disney Studios development that began opening in May 2026.
