Disney California Adventure will debut a new attraction called Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake during the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party. This street party brings the iconic Haunted Mansion experience to life with ghostly dancers and a séance led by Madame Leota. Due to ongoing construction, this event will temporarily replace the Frightfully Fun Parade for the season. The Dessert Party returns with a new menu themed after The Nightmare Before Christmas, offering premium viewing of the street party. Guests can also encounter rare villains and characters throughout California Adventure while trick-or-treating on immersive treat trails. Villains Grove will transform into an enchanted world inspired by Disney villains like the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier. Ichabod Crane will appear at select times evading the Headless Horseman during the evening festivities. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with admission including early park entry and unlimited PhotoPass downloads. Tickets go on sale starting June 18, 2026, with pre-sale opportunities for Magic Key holders and D23 members earlier in the month.
