Disney Cast Members Sign Beams For New Coaster Project

Construction on the new Monsters, Inc. roller coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios continues to advance rapidly. Disney recently released a video showing Cast Members signing steel beams that will become part of the attraction. This beam signing is a long-standing tradition allowing workers to leave their mark on major projects. Similar events have occurred for other new lands at different Disney parks this year. The upcoming coaster will feature suspended vehicles and introduce two firsts for the company, including its first vertical lift coaster. The new Monstropolis land is replacing the former Muppets Courtyard and is expected to open in phases by 2027.
