Disney Hollywood Studios is experiencing significant expansion with the opening of Rock n Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets and the construction of a new Monsters Inc land. The former Muppets Courtyard area is being transformed into The Walt Disney Studios, which already features an adorable Animation Courtyard. This new space will house the Magic of Disney Animation attraction and include a brand new playground called Drawn to Wonderland, inspired by Mary Blair’s original Alice in Wonderland concept art. The playground will feature playful elements from the Mad Tea Party and other whimsical scenes, designed to entertain both young children and families. A complete map reveals the layout, showing Olaf Draws offering drawing lessons with an audio-animatronic Olaf, and an enchanted art gallery where artwork magically comes to life. The largest section, Off The Page, will allow guests to meet characters in various animation roles like Mulan in Story and Stitch in Effects. These exciting new experiences are scheduled to open later this summer, though the Animation Courtyard is currently available for visitors.
