Disney has completed a major refurbishment of the Royal Rooms at its Port Orleans Riverside resort, transforming them from a princess gathering space into Tiana and Naveen’s home. Construction on the Magnolia Bend section began in May 2025, with work expected to continue through August 2027 across the entire property. The newly themed rooms feature interactive bayou murals that shift between daytime and nighttime scenes using LED lighting effects resembling fireflies. Guests will find a functional layout including Queen beds, a spacious bathroom with kid-friendly amenities, and a coffee station area adorned with family portraits. A letter from Tiana and Naveen provides additional storytelling context within the room, while stained glass artwork of Tiana hangs above the dining table. The updated design aims to improve overall functionality while maintaining the magical atmosphere that Disney guests expect during their stay at this Florida resort.
