Disney Restricts Resort Bus Access Starting June 2026 for Non-Resort Guests

Disney has announced a new policy effective June 28, 2026, limiting access to resort buses. Only guests staying at Disney Resort hotels or those with valid dining and experience reservations will be permitted to board these buses. This change primarily affects visitors who park at Disney Springs to avoid parking fees at major theme parks. The restriction was previously implemented during Easter crowds but was not strictly enforced for verifying resort stays. Disney may have identified a loophole where guests could use dining reservations to access resort transportation without staying overnight. Those without resort stays can still board buses by securing same-day table service dining or booking an Enchanting Extra activity at a resort location. The implementation details and enforcement methods remain uncertain as the policy approaches its effective date. This development may impact travel planning for visitors seeking cost-effective ways to experience Disney properties.
