Disney has unveiled the first glimpse of its newly redesigned Treehouse Villas located at the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. A behind-the-scenes video from Walt Disney Imagineering showcases how creative teams developed these refreshed accommodations, drawing inspiration from over a century of Disney animation history. The design process involved creating virtual models, functional prototypes, and full-scale contractor models to guide construction across the resort’s unique treehouse collection. Although extensive interior photos remain unreleased, previews indicate a brighter, more contemporary aesthetic while preserving the woodland charm of this elevated retreat along the Sassagoula River. The refurbishment project, announced earlier this year, will proceed in phases through mid-September 2026, with updates happening one cluster at a time to maintain guest availability.
