Disney Springs and BoardWalk See Major Updates and New Attractions Coming Soon

Disney has announced significant developments for Disney Springs and the BoardWalk area, bringing exciting changes to the resort. Columbia Sportswear will reopen on July 24th, while Level99 is set to open on June 29th with ticket sales starting earlier in June. Several buildings at the BoardWalk that have been vacant for months now have permits filed, signaling new projects are underway. Meanwhile, Magic Kingdom is undergoing major transformations as Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island close permanently to make way for the new Cars-themed Piston Peak National Park area. EPCOT also sees changes with DinoLand USA closing to become Tropical Americas land featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones attractions. Multiple resorts including Polynesian Village and Yacht Club are experiencing ongoing refurbishments affecting guest access and dining options through 2026 and 2027.
