Disney Springs Transportation Changes Begin June 28th With New Resort Restrictions

New transportation rules at Disney Springs will take effect on June 28th, requiring guests to have a resort reservation, dining booking, or experience reservation before boarding buses or boats. These changes also apply to boat services departing from the area. Additionally, Port Orleans French Quarter has implemented new pool access procedures with Cast Members verifying MagicBands and My Disney Experience app reservations at the entrance. Verified guests receive daily color-coded wristbands that must remain worn throughout their pool visit, a system previously used at Stormalong Bay and other resorts during peak times. This expansion of reservation-based access aims to manage crowd flow more effectively across Disney properties. The reporting team plans to observe the new screening process firsthand on June 28th at Disney Springs.
