Disney Hollywood Studios has unveiled a new courtyard section of The Walt Disney Studios land, marking a nostalgic return to the legendary Burbank lot. The initial phase features Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! and an outdoor courtyard filled with trees and relaxation spots for guests. Characters like Goofy, Sofia the First, and SuperKitties are already visible in the area, with handprints of famous characters embedded in the ground. Future additions include The Magic of Disney Animation with Olaf-hosted drawing classes and the Drawn to Wonderland playground inspired by Mary Blair’s art. The land will also feature Off the Page, a meet-and-greet area where guests can interact with characters from six unique animation departments. The full opening is scheduled for later in Summer 2026, with more attractions and experiences yet to be revealed. This expansion aims to bring characters to life and honor the roots of animation history.
