Walt Disney Imagineering has revealed details about the upcoming Space Mountain Earthrise attraction at Tokyo Disneyland, set to open in Spring 2027. This new indoor roller coaster will feature enhanced performance, immersive special effects, and a unique story connecting Earth with the universe. The ride will be located in Tomorrowland Plaza, an area redesigned to symbolize harmony between nature and humanity. Alongside Space Mountain Earthrise, Tokyo Disneyland will also introduce Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, based on Wreck-It Ralph, which will open at the same time. Both attractions represent significant investments by OLC, with total spending for Tomorrowland’s transformation exceeding 100 billion yen. The new rides incorporate advanced technology and storytelling elements that distinguish them from previous Disney coasters.
