Disney World is preparing for a significant transformation with the launch of Cool KIDS SUMMER on May 26th, which will bring numerous new attractions and dining experiences across its parks. Several locations are reopening, including FØØD by Swedish Chef and Soarin Across America at EPCOT, while others like the Diamond Horseshoe will be rethemed to Jessie’s Roundup. However, visitors should be aware of several permanent closures, such as the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island, which are being replaced by the new Piston Peak area inspired by Cars. The Animation Courtyard is also closing to make way for The Walt Disney Studios, featuring new interactive experiences and a playground. Additionally, various resort hotels are undergoing extensive construction, leading to temporary closures of pools, dining locations, and transportation services. These changes reflect Disney’s ongoing efforts to refresh its offerings while managing complex infrastructure upgrades throughout the property.
