However, visitors should be aware of several permanent closures, such as the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island, which are being replaced by the new Piston Peak area inspired by Cars. The Animation Courtyard is also closing to make way for The Walt Disney Studios, featuring new interactive experiences and a playground.
