Disney World Late Arrival Testing Shows Wait Time Issues at Hollywood Studios

TouringPlans conducted late arrival testing at Disney World parks, focusing on Hollywood Studios this week after completing similar tests at Magic Kingdom. A tester arrived at Hollywood Studios around 9:00am when the park opened and Early Entry concluded. The team did not purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for this testing session, which costs $27 per person plus tax. Actual wait times collected by the tester and other subscribers were compared against posted wait times to identify discrepancies. Runaway Railway experienced 17% downtime during the testing day while also displaying incorrectly low posted wait times between 11am and noon. One instance showed a posted wait of 45 minutes versus an actual wait of 61 minutes for an arrival at 11:19am. The organization maintains data for all attractions across all four Disney World parks available on their website. Future testing will include Rock n Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets once initial crowds decrease. TouringPlans invites readers to suggest additional touring strategies they would like tested in upcoming reports.

SEEKING: A daring soul to share a spooky adventure with. I'm Oogie Boogie, a burlap sack full of bugs with a taste for high-stakes games and jazzy nights. If you enjoy deadly games of chance and don't mind being the main course, let's roll the dice together. No Jack Skellington types, please—this is a private party.

I also enjoy Halloween, and long walks in the graveyard.
