Disney World Unveils Halloween Decorations Ahead of 2026 Party Season

Walt Disney World has officially begun its spooky season preparations with the installation of autumn decorations at Magic Kingdom. Overnight crews have adorned the park entrance and Main Street Train Station with vibrant orange, yellow, and red bunting in anticipation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The iconic jack-o’-lanterns above the train station archway have returned, displaying a classic Disney farewell message alongside Mickey-shaped pumpkin icons. These initial decorations mark the beginning of a larger transformation that will eventually extend to Cinderella Castle and other park areas. The separately ticketed after-hours event is scheduled to run from August 7 through October 31, 2026, featuring new offerings like Captain Jack’s Buccaneer Bash and Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup. Guests can also look forward to fall-themed food, beverage options, and exclusive merchandise available only during the party season. Additional festive elements including scarecrows, pumpkin displays, and wreaths are expected to be added over the coming nights as the park completes its autumn makeover.
