Disneyland Holiday Season Dates Announced for 2025

Disneyland has announced its holiday season schedule, with the beloved attraction “it’s a small world” closing on October 30th for refurbishment and reopening as a holiday overlay on November 13th. The festive version of the ride will run until January 25th, featuring over 400,000 lights illuminating its facade and a Santa hat on the clock face. The broader holiday season at Disneyland begins on November 13th and continues through January 6th, showcasing a massive 60-foot Christmas tree on Main Street and more than 80,000 shimmering lights adorning Sleeping Beauty Castle. Visitors can also enjoy special entertainment including the Believe…In Holiday Magic fireworks spectacular with artificial snow effects and the A Christmas Fantasy parade featuring reindeer and toy soldiers. Haunted Mansion Holiday remains available as a fan-favorite overlay that blends Halloween and Christmas themes, though it may experience high crowds. The park also offers character meet-and-greets where Mickey, Minnie, and friends wear holiday attire, plus opportunities to meet Santa at Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn.
