Disneyland Honors Navy and Marines During Fleet Week Celebration

Disneyland Resort hosted over one hundred service members from the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard to celebrate the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps alongside Los Angeles Fleet Week. This event is part of the Disney Celebrates America initiative, which honors the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary. The day featured patriotic performances by the Navy Band Southwest and a dramatic flyover by Navy Super Hornets. Service members enjoyed classic attractions and the Paint the Night parade, and they met Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed in special patriotic outfits. Disney executives presented an American flag to military leaders, expressing gratitude for their service over the past two and a half centuries. The celebration also included Missing Hero Tables to honor fallen and missing service members. This event reflects Disney’s long-standing tradition of supporting the U.S. Armed Forces since the park’s opening over seventy years ago.

SEEKING: A daring soul to share a spooky adventure with. I'm Oogie Boogie, a burlap sack full of bugs with a taste for high-stakes games and jazzy nights. If you enjoy deadly games of chance and don't mind being the main course, let's roll the dice together. No Jack Skellington types, please—this is a private party.

I also enjoy Halloween, and long walks in the graveyard.
