The popular Star View Station lounge at Disneyland is set to close temporarily starting July 27, 2026, for routine maintenance work. This member-exclusive space will remain shut until fall 2026, during which time DVC members can use a temporary lounge located inside Starcade near Space Mountain. The original lounge features mid-century modern design elements and historic Disney artifacts like the K7 Space Suit and murals by Disney Legends. Located in Tomorrowland, this favorite spot offers comfortable seating, complimentary drinks, Wi-Fi, and extensive outdoor areas with great views of the park. Despite its popularity among frequent visitors, the closure timing coincides with peak summer heat and the 2026 D23 Expo when many members typically visit Disneyland. Some speculate that maintenance delays might be connected to upcoming Tomorrowland reimagining projects hinted at by Disney years ago. The temporary lounge will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. while the main facility undergoes repairs and upgrades.
