Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing for new attractions while temporarily closing the popular Vacation Fun attraction. The Mickey Shorts Theater will close on August 9th to host a magnet pickup center for Annual Passholders until September 24th. This temporary closure comes as part of ongoing park development, including the construction of a Monstropolis area and the recent opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The attraction previously closed in October 2025 and reopened in December 2025 after adding Potatoland to its offerings. Guests seeking air-conditioned entertainment can visit Walt Disney Presents instead for a documentary experience. Park officials have not yet confirmed when Vacation Fun will reopen after the temporary closure period ends.
