Vacation Fun, a popular animated short featuring Mickey and Minnie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is closing for the second time this year. The show will cease operations on Sunday, August 9th, with no announced reopening date. This follows a previous closure in April for a Star Wars merchandise event. During this shutdown, the theater will host Annual Passholder Magnet distribution featuring Kermit the Frog from August 11th to September 24th. Visitors can also enjoy special PhotoPass Magic Shots with Kermit and banjo near Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Dockside Diner will serve a Key lime Kermit Milk Shake for Annual Passholders during this period. The Disney Food Blog will continue providing updates on park closures and events throughout the year.
