However, there is one major warning for guests: the rolling hills throughout the 160 to 165 acre park can be challenging. The terrain is much more difficult than at Magic Kingdom despite similar size, making a typical ten mile day significantly harder. Getting to Timber Canyon involves climbing steep hills that many find exhausting if they haven’t walked up inclines recently. Strategic planning of route direction can help manage the physical demands of navigating between different park lands and attractions. The water park Splash Country also features similar hilly terrain requiring supportive footwear for visitors. Those who enjoy active experiences will appreciate the natural beauty, while others should prepare physically or consider renting an ECV wheelchair for easier access throughout the property.
