EPCOT Adds New Napoleon Wrasse to Living Seas Aquarium Exhibit

EPCOT has introduced a new species of fish to its 5.7 meter aquarium at The Living Seas Pavilion, marking the first time this particular fish has been housed there. The Napoleon Wrasse, also known as a Humphead Wrasse due to distinctive humps on adult foreheads, is indigenous to the Indo-Pacific region and can grow up to 90 inches long weighing 421 pounds. This endangered species is now protected in many countries and has been named Toa after the Maori word meaning warrior or victor. The addition provides visitors with an opportunity to observe marine life while enjoying air conditioning during hot days at the park. EPCOT encourages guests to visit this new resident and enjoy watching the thousands of creatures that call the aquarium home.
