Construction activity has recently been observed at EPCOT, specifically within the Germany Pavilion area. The roof of Das Kaufhaus is currently being renovated as part of a significant refurbishment project. All original red shingles have been removed and replaced with a brown scrim material that blends well with existing colors. This maintenance work appears necessary since the current roofing materials are quite aged and require replacement. Additionally, the pavilion bathrooms remain closed behind construction barriers while undergoing their own upgrades. Disney is taking time to improve guest experiences by ensuring all facilities look beautiful and function properly throughout the park.
