Some fans are celebrating news that Universal Studios Florida will close the Fast and Furious: Supercharged attraction four months earlier than originally planned. The ride, which opened in 2018, has never been particularly popular due to its slow-moving system and controversial 3D film experience. Many visitors dislike how the attraction occupies space that previously held Earthquake and Beetlejuice’s Graveyard. Rumors suggest Universal might replace it with Wicked or a classic property like Ghostbusters. The park has not yet confirmed what will take Supercharged’s place, though the Hollywood Drift coaster is expected to open soon. This early closure comes just months after fans lamented losing other attractions decades ago.
