The iconic Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop is temporarily relocating after nearly three decades at its original Disney Springs Marketplace location. The shop will close later this summer to undergo renovations expected to be completed by Spring 2027. During the construction period, guests can enjoy the full menu of signature chocolate treats and hot fudge sundaes at a temporary location in the nearby Town Center area. Lacey Zane from Ghirardelli Chocolate Company expressed pride in their long-standing relationship with Disney and excitement about evolving the space while honoring its legacy. The renovated shop will feature increased seating, more efficient checkout processes, and several surprises for returning visitors. This transition aims to enhance the guest experience while maintaining access to beloved chocolate offerings throughout the renovation period.
