The Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Disney Springs is closing soon for a significant refurbishment project. The store will remain closed until sometime in 2027, during which time it will undergo extensive improvements including additional indoor seating and a more efficient checkout process. Despite the closure, guests can still enjoy their favorite chocolate treats at a temporary location within the Disney Springs Town Center. Lacey Zane, Vice President of Restaurant and Retail at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, emphasized the company’s long-standing relationship with Disney and expressed excitement about the upcoming updates. The temporary relocation ensures that visitors will not lose access to sundaes, signature chocolate treats, and other menu items during the renovation period. This change represents an important step forward for the iconic location while maintaining service continuity for guests.
