Walt Disney World has officially launched its Halloween season with extensive decorations now adorning Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom. Iconic light-up Mickey Mouse pumpkin wreaths hang from Town Square to Cinderella Castle, accompanied by fall bunting and other seasonal decor. The first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party begins on August 7, 2026, marking the earliest start date ever for this popular hard ticket event. Ticket prices range from $119 to $229 depending on the date, with October weekends commanding the highest rates. This year’s party runs through October 31 and features special parades, fireworks displays, and a Hocus Pocus stage show. Early August dates have already sold out completely, indicating strong demand despite some fan concerns about Halloween starting before school resumes. The event returns to its traditional schedule after last year’s delayed opening due to Starlight operations adjustments.
