A vibrant new frozen treat is arriving at the Disneyland Resort this month, bringing a massive wave of flavor to the area. Happy Ice, Los Angeles’ premier Philadelphia Italian ice brand, is officially opening an all-new cart in the Downtown Disney District. Founded in 2017 by Lemeir Mitchell, this brand started as a single food truck and quickly grew into a cultural phenomenon thanks to its fruit-forward flavors and loyal fanbase. The upcoming location will debut Happy Ice’s first fully all-natural menu, featuring handcrafted Philadelphia water ice made with natural ingredients. Guests can also look forward to the JOY-LATI, a new layered dessert combining smooth Italian ice, vanilla sweet cream, premium sauces, fresh fruit, and nostalgic flavors like Banana Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake. Exclusive specialty flavors including Berry Bonanza and Cloud 9 will be available alongside fruit-based sauces and special monthly rotating exclusives. While an exact opening date has not been set yet, the cart is scheduled to open its shutters this month.
