Disney is introducing new interactive Batuu Adventure Buddies at Droid Depot locations starting August 13, 2026. The first release features an Ewok companion that responds to touch with animations and sounds. These toys can interact with each other and react to park environments throughout Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Customization options include themed gear sets that trigger additional interactive features when attached to the toy. The collection will expand to include two more Batuu Adventure Buddies at later dates at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World locations. This product line draws inspiration from earlier interactive merchandise like Pal Mickey and aims to enhance guest experiences through engaging technology.
