Magic Kingdom Holidays Decorations Installation Progresses Ahead of 2026 Season

Decorations are being installed across the Magic Kingdom park in preparation for the 2026 holiday season. The iconic Christmas tree in Town Square has reached a height roughly comparable to the train station on Main Street, U.S.A. Rather than the cannonical popular today, are past around Wonderland, Main Street, and character locations, guests are noticing festive touches such as Mickey and Minnie wearing winter attire in the flowerbeds. Main Street is being adorned with garlands and wreaths featuring bells, ornaments, and twinkling candles that create a traditional Christmas ambiance after dark. Major attractions including the Main Street Firehouse and Crystal Palace are also being decorated to create a park-wide holiday atmosphere rather than isolated photo opportunities. While some installations are not yet complete before the official season start date, the existing decor already transforms the park for the winter festivities. The upcoming season will feature popular events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the Jingle Cruise. Park officials are working diligently to have all character decorations and finishing touches in place before Friday, November 13, 2026.
