Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Announces Changes and New Attractions for Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is preparing for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which occurs on 38 select nights between August 7th and October 31st. The park closes to general admission at 6 PM to accommodate the party running from 7 PM until midnight. Visitors attending on party nights can expect shorter ride wait times but will miss daytime attractions like the Festival of Fantasy Parade, which now runs only at 2 PM instead of its usual 3 PM time slot. The traditional Happily Ever After fireworks show is replaced by Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, featuring a new Halloween-themed production with villains and special effects. New entertainment additions include A Masquerade with Stitch in Tomorrowland and Captain Jack Sparrow’s swashbuckling pirate antics in Adventureland. Exclusive character meet-and-greets feature rare appearances from Jafar, Lady Tremaine, and the Hundred Acre Wood characters dressed for Halloween. Over 50 themed treats are available throughout the park, including returning favorites like Chipotle Barbecue Pork and new items such as Devilish Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. Merchandise offerings include spirit jerseys, Minnie ears, Loungefly bags, home decor items, and collectible pins suitable for guests of all ages.
