New Charts Track Guest Satisfaction Trends at Disney and Universal Resorts Over Time

Disney and Universal resorts have released new charts tracking guest hotel satisfaction over time. These charts complement previously published data on restaurant satisfaction, optimal park visit days, and Lightning Lane distribution patterns. Vertical bars on the graphs mark significant resort events like room refurbishments and pool renovations. The default view displays an overall rating representing the complete vacation experience through unweighted averages of individual components. Additional filters allow examination of specific areas including pool quality, dining options, check-in procedures, guest return likelihood, recommendation rates, and overall satisfaction percentages. Timeline events help correlate satisfaction changes with specific hotel projects such as room upgrades or transportation improvements. For instance, Caribbean Beach Resort saw improved recommendation metrics after the Disney Skyliner connected it to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Hundreds of such events were captured across both resort hotel portfolios to enable this detailed analysis.
