Raisin Ankole Calf Makes Debut on Kilimanjaro Safaris

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has welcomed a new Ankole calf named Raisin to its Kilimanjaro Savaris. The adorable dark brown calf joined the main herd after spending time bonding with her mother backstage. Animal care teams announced her public debut following light morning rain showers at the theme park. Raisin features small horns that are just beginning to grow as she explores the savannah alongside her mother. This new addition adds to Disney’s growing family of baby animals, following another Ankole calf named Cinnamon who debuted earlier in June. Guests can also recently see a rare albino wallaby joey named Quartz at Jumping Junction. Visitors are encouraged to keep their cameras ready for a potential encounter with Raisin during their safari adventure.
